Body stuff !

This page is about my body, fitness, style and whatever else really.

Dieting and Fitness

My body is rather feminine for a AMAB without HRT. Admittedly this is down to lucky genetics, but my diet and workouts contributed heavily. Generally, this was achieved by focusing on getting as close to 1500 calories per day as I could, while making sure whatever I eat was actually good for me. In addition to this, I mainly focused on glute bridges, single leg glute bridges, elevated glute bridges, clamshells and sumo squats. The main three are the glute bridges which mostly target the gluteus maximus, hamstrings and core. Single leg glute bridges and clamshells also hit the gluteus medius - clamshells hit the gluteus minimus as well. And then general legs sumo squats. All of my workouts were done using my body weight, 5 days a week, 4 - 5 sets of 10 - 15 reps depending on the specific exercise. Overtime I slowly added more sets and slowed down the tempo.

Cardio is also quite important, so like include that. Cycling is pretty easy to incorporate whether this is from actually cycling or using a fitness bike. Something like yoga can also be beneficial to improve your flexability - which I try to do but am not very consitent with it lol.

Body hair

When I started dabbling with grooming, I mainly used 3 blade razors, and it worked but it was just quite long and needed to be done quite frequently. I then bought and epilator and it was a game changer for me. As it pulls the hairs out, you have longer periods between needing to do it again. The only real con is that its loud so like privacy may dictate if you can do it or not. Well worth it though! As for face, just normal wet shaving works for me. I shan't talk about priavte parts hehe.

Haircuts (head)

I am bad with hair. I have looked like this image (not me) for most of my life, and it seems as though this was how I was born to look at this point. I tried some things while not deviating too hard from this, but they didn't feel right. Luckily this seems to work for me and its rather androgynous I feel so, "don't fix what ain't broke" rings true for me.

Clothes

Feminine clothes are quite easy to get. You can either shop online or just play clueless boyfriend in shops. For privacy you can typically just go to a town over where its less likely people will know you. I think one thing that matters quite a bit is your aesthetic. Trying to make things work when it doesn't suit you can be a big reason why things look bad on you. Its a sad reality :(. For me, black things looks good on me, so I buy that. I don't really have much of a coherent fashion background, I just go purely based on vibes. For me, I mainly focus on shops like Primark, TK Maxx and Uniqlo - mannequins here can be good inspo. Generally you can't go wrong with a good black a line or midi skirt and then sweaters are where you can spice it up, but I would say this is the basic most fem fashion however. As long as you know your three sizes (bust/waist/hip) you can find anything really.

Generally the most stealth way in my experience to buy feminine clothes is Primarks click and collect feature. You just find what you want in your size on their website, and order it to a store in the next town. Go there and pick the stuff up when its ready and then show up as a clueless boyfriend getting stuff for your girlfriends birthday/aniversary/christmas/whatever. No one knows who you are, and its not weird to do it so like no harm - especially if you don't want to look around the store for certain things - or if things are not currently availible at your location of choices store. Generally its a store that sells things for either sex so like it doesn't look out of place on bank statements and stuff if you worry about that.

Voice training

I feel like voice training is important. I feel as though it is the thing that really makes or breaks how you appear to others. Like you can pass in all other metrics and the thing that people would clock would be your voice. For me personally, I just like being able to speak in multiple different ranges. As it is, my default voice isn't super masculine, but learning a more feminine voice is quite fun regardless.

Youtube is your friend for learning this. A few trans youtubers have voice training series that are quite good - i.e. YukkoEX, FairyPrincessLucy just to name a few.
